Description
Annual awards for residents of selected counties in California or Oregon who are FFA members and are graduating high school seniors enrolling at a four year college or university pursuing studies in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or Animal Science. Students must be U.S. citizens. Selected counties in California are: Modoc or Siskiyou; counties in Oregon are: Crook, Deschutes, Jackson, Jefferson, Klamath, or Lake. Criteria used for selection includes student's GPA (minimum 3.0), ACT or SAT scores, class rank, financial need, leadership in FFA activities, leadership in community activities, and involvement in the Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAE). Nonrenewable.
