Description
Annual awards for residents of selected counties in Idaho or Utah who are FFA members graduating from high school enrolling at a two or four year college or university pursuing studies in Agribusiness. Selected counties in IDAHO are Bannock, Bear Lake, Bingham, Blaine, Bonneville, Butte, Caribou, Cassia, Clark, Custer, Franklin, Fremont, Jefferson, Jerome, Lemhi, Lincoln, Madison, Minidoka, Oneida, Power or Teton; UTAH counties are: Beaver, Box Elder, Cache, Carbon, Emery, Garfield, Iron, Juab, Kane, Millard, Morgan, Piute, Rich, Sanpete, Sevier, Tooele, Utah, Wasatch, Wayne, Washington, or Weber. Student must be a U.S. citizen. Criteria used for selection includes student's GPA (minimum 3.0), ACT or SAT scores, class rank, leadership in FFA activities, leadership in community activities, and involvement in the Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAE). Nonrenewable.
