1890 Scholars Program - Agronomy Scholarships

Description
Annual awards for college freshmen planning to attend a participating postsecondary institution pursuing studies in Agriculture, Food, Natural Resource Sciences, or other related disciplines. Students must have financial need, be US citizens, be high school graduates/GED recipients, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, minimum 1000 SAT score, or minimum 21 ACT score, and demonstrate leadership and community service. Award amount may vary. Forgiveable loan; recipients are obligated to one year of service to the USDA for each year of financial support. Renewable.
