BACKGROUND

YTI was founded in 1967 by local businessmen in York, Pennsylvania. It started as a co-educational school to train entry-level draftsmen. YTI noticed a need to offer students a world class education in multiple business-related programs and grow it's student population. Through the years YTI transformed into a full technical school. With each passing decade, the school has added new programs such as a Specialized Business Degree program in Culinary Arts/Restaurant Management. In addition, as the market around York and the world changes, YTI ensures its students they will receive an education that meets growing trends. It's continued to grow both in educational offerings, advanced teaching methods, and campuses. Students willing to work hard will reap the rewards from this historical training school.
